1.Carriageworks Night Market

One of the top foodie events on Sydneysiders calendars, Carriageworks Night Market is back this Friday night. Kylie Kwong brings together some of Australia’s most talented chefs and local producers for an evening of out-of-the-box, immersive street dining.

2.Queenstories: Western Sydney

When: Friday 09 February 2018 

Where: Riverside Theatres, Parramatta

Queerstories is the widely raved about storytelling night that's been selling out at Redfern's Giant Dwarf for over a year now and with the 40th anniversary of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras just around the corner, the events creator, Maeve Marsden, has conjured up a special edition to the series this Friday at Riverside Theatres in Parramatta.

3.Humans of New York

When: Saturday 10 February 2018 

Where: Sydney Opera House, Sydney

We couldn’t be more excited about Humans of New York creator, Brandon Stanton’s speech at Sydney Opera House this weekend. Humans of New York is without doubt one of the most influential catalogues of street photography and human stories in the world, amassing over 7.6M followers on Instagram alone.  This Saturday, Stanton will share what happens behind-the-scenes while collecting some of the world’s most moving, inspiring and liberating stories.

4.Serbian Festival Sydney

When: Saturday 10 February 2018 - Sunday 11 February, 2018

Where: Tumbalong Park, Sydney

This weekend,  Tumbalong Park will be packed full of your favourite Serbian eats including ćevapi, the national dish of Serbia, and limunana, the festival’s speciality drink inspired by Belgrade’s balmy summer nights.  It will be a weekend full of festivity and foodie moments.

5.ROC Race Sydney

When: Saturday 10 February 2018

Where: Sydney Olympic Park

The Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge (ROC Race) sees its confident competitors race over larger-than-life inflatable obstacles along a 39-metre course in Sydney Olympic Park, just for the sheer fun of it. There will be wrecking balls, a daredevil three-metre drop called Leap of Faith, and four-storey tall water slides at the finish line – the perfect summer fun stop.
