Evita at the Sydney Opera House

An award-winning Broadway and West End production, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic original version of Evita is showcasing at the House this month. Starring one of Australia’s most acclaimed musicians, Tina Arena, Evita charts the story of Eva Peron, wife of Argentine dictator Juan Person, and her humble beginnings through to extraordinary wealth, power and status.

Sculpture by the Sea

A much-loved free annual event, Sculpture by the Sea draws together handpicked local and international artists whose incredible sculptures are erected along the Bondi to Tamarama beach coastal walk for all-day viewing. See the spectacular coastal walk transformed into a 2km long sculpture park over three weeks featuring 100 sculptures in total.

Sydney Craft Week

Sydney Craft Week draws together more than 100 workshops showcasing textile artists, ceramicists, metalsmiths, jewellery makers, woodworkers, leather crafters, furniture makers, Indigenous artists and designers. Across the week, artists and makers will highlight their creations that encompass this year’s theme of mindful making, exploring the social and meditative benefits of creating.

Night Noodle Markets

Hyde Park will transform into an Asian-inspired night market this month with the Night Noodle Markets. Sydneysiders can embark on a vibrant flavour journey through Asia with 40 sizzling hawker-style stalls served alongside live music, DJs and the city’s stunning nightscape. Feast on signature dishes from vendors such as Chat Thai, Mr Bao, Chur Burger and more. Entry is free.

Eight of Sydney’s best breweries come together for this two-day festival celebrating Australia’s rich craft beer culture and live music. This year’s stellar band line-up includes Bad//Dreems, Philadelphia Grand Jury, the Chats, and more. Plus, there will be a pop-up ‘beercade’ where you can play free arcade games from 1989 Bar and Kitchen.

Sunrise on the Steps

Salute the sun with yoga at the Opera House. This month, our nearby neighbour will offer yoga classes on its famous steps. For a positive star to your day, the combination of stunning views and inspirational yoga teachings will leave you centred for the day ahead. Classes are $25 per person and are accessible for beginners while providing enough challenge for the most seasoned yogis.

In a quaint street in Paddington, the electric William Street Festival will light up the suburb with its annual celebration of all things community and culture. Japanese Film Festival

Hunter Valley Uncorked

Hunter Valley Uncorked will be landing on the sunny shores of Balmoral Beach and will offer a full immersion in the Hunter Valley way of life. Spring Cycle
