InterContinental Sydney’s Head Of Pastry, Simon Veauvy, is bringing the art of ultimate indulgence back in the form of jasmin and hazelnut crème brulée, chocolate and praline cake and lemon grapefruit tart, to name a few.

Renowned in Sydney for his passion for the insanely decadent, Veauvy unveils the launch of his new High Tea menu on February 17th. In keeping with tradition, the High Tea will be accompanied by handpicked Ronnefeldt teas and set within the grand 1851 surrounds of The Cortile’s sun-lit lounge. Only this time, there is no lenience for those without a sweet tooth. Veauvy has evolved his butter-wouldn’t-melt, botanic-themed summer menu into a haven of sugar-laden debauchery with dark chocolate flavours, lashings of caramel and zesty passionfruit and raspberry throughout.

For those daring enough to indulge, the weekend buffet is your realm of wicked indulgence. For those wishing to dip their feet – or rather, eager hands and drooling mouths – into said devilishly delicious realm, the more demure High Tea stands topped with a carefully curated selection of the High Tea buffet’s sweet and savoury is the way to go. 

Three Tier High Tea Stand

Monday to Friday from 11am – 4pm.

$62 per person includes a glass of sparkling wine.

$77 per person includes a glass of Champagne.

$30 per child (5 - 12 years).

Children aged 4 and under are complimentary.
