Situated within the historic Treasury Building of 1851, Cafe Opera is a buffet restaurant located on Level 1 and offers a beautiful dining setting with its grand windows and views of the city, or alfresco dining in the outside court of the sandstone arcades.
Ever since Executive Sous Chef Stephen Lech can remember he has loved nothing more than visiting local food markets with the smell of freshly made bread and the beautiful array of colours from recently picked fruit and vegetables. It is these markets in which Stephen visits on a regular basis that provides the inspiration for the market fresh and locally sourced dining experience that is showcased with its unique and interactive buffet.
